"I registered online, now what?"
You will receive a confirmation letter in the mail within 4-days. You will also be granted access to our 'Already Registered' Link where you will be able to gain more information about the conference.
So how big will this year's conference be?
Last years conference had over 600 people. we are limiting this conference to 1,000. Based on the initial response, this conference will fill up.
How long do I have to register?
Registration will end as soon as we fill up. We still have seats available.
"Can I attend just one day?"
Of course, however you must pay for both days. This conference has limited seating and we are unable to offer one day registrations.
"Can I record the conference?"
Sorry, no recording devices or photography is permitted.
"I'm not a police officer, can I still attend?"
Yes, we do allow non-law enforcement personnel to attend. You may be subject to a background check. Former gang members and those who have criminal records are not permitted to attend. This conference is recommended for law enforcement, educators, social service workers, probation/parole, corrections and other professionals.
"What do I need to bring?"
As the conference date nears, we will post a suggested packing list.
"Can my spouse attend?"
Vegas has many free attractions for both spouses and children. However, they are not permitted in the conference room.
"My department does not have training funds avalable, do you offer scholarships?"
We do not. Most estimate nearly 50% of attendees pay for this training out of their own pocket to enhance their knowledge, career advancement and for networking opportunities. Many officers have told us that their department allowed them to attend the conference on duty time and even provided transportation.
"Will I get a certificate if I attend?"
Yes, you will receive a certificate showing 16-hours of training. Our training is accepted by most state's POST standards and goes towards continuing education credits and annual requirements.
