Eighth-grader, John McMahan, was often bullied by classmates. At 8:45 AM he entered a classroom and his peers were dissecting worms.

He shouted, "I'm a New Jack City hustler!" He then opened fire, targeting two students. He wounded both of them and grazing one of them across the chest. The other was struck in the arm.

He left the room and wandered around campus where he fired into some bushes before teachers were able to talk him into surrendering.
