I know of your common gangs; Bloods;Crips;MS-13;Gangster Disciples;Vice-Lords;Latin Kings;OutLaws;Klu Klux Klan. Being in the Chattanooga Tennessee area. I know of several Vice-lord Nation Gang members were charged with several robberies,Burglaries,etc. about two weeks ago ( www.Chattanoogan.com has the news article for that one) We just recently had a Gang member ( bloods ) charged in the death of another guys murder this week. ( all our local news channels covered it, News Channel 3 www.wrcbtv.com, News Channel 12 www.wdef.com, www.chattanoogan.com, www.nooga.com, News Channel 9 www.newschannel9.com ) Last friday ( 09/19/08 ) we had a city wide gang round up, where several gang members were picked up for warrants from misdomeaners to felonies ( news channel 9 www.newschannel9.com, www.chattanoogan.com, www.nooga.com ) covered that. They are working with our local FBI here in Chattanooga Tennessee in creating a Gang Member Data Base, where it has all gang members or wanna be gang members names in it ( kind of like the Felony or Sex Offender Registry, but they don't register, they are automatically put in when arrested for such crimes) That is all I can think of off the top of my head, If you have any wustions feel free to contact me via e-mail, and if you need a arthur for this city I would be more than willing to help out anywhere I can. I want it public that we do in fact have a Gang problem in our city, and I think citizens should be aware of what gangs are in their area, we have atleast one drive by a night, 1 out of 3 shootings actually misses a body. I can't remember exactly, but in the news today on Chattanoogan.com, they said we have had a estimate of 4 drive by's/shootings since Friday 09/19/08.
