I remember when, years ago, Mumia came to California as one of the youngest Panthers from the newly formed Philadelphia Chapter. Until this day his devotion to our struggle stands out in my mind. Last week, I met with Emory Douglas, who was Minister of Culture of the Black Panther Party within whose ministry the teenage Mumia used to work. Emory also had fond and vivid memories of young Jamal. So this is our direct proof and testament to Mumia's lifetime devotion to save our people's lives. Now it is time for us to embrace him. To sound the alarm and say with our time and energy: NO WE WON'T LET THEM KILL MUMIA! I also ask you to take a moment and reflect on our comrades Dr. Mutulu Shakur, Oscar Lopez Rivera, Tom Manning and Ray Levasseur freedom fighters from the New Afrikan, Puerto Rican and North American resistance who have been sent to the death trap in florence, Colorado.
