Currently on any given day we have over 10,000 unique daily visitors to our website.  Many of the daily emails we receive start out like this, “While on patrol last night I dealt with an individual from city XXX and he had the tattoo XXX on his arm.  What do you know about that gang?”  We get similar emails from social service workers, correctional officers, probation officers, parents and educators.

Well, here’s the answer.  Find your city to view information about your local gangs or if you have some knowledge about the gangs in that city, share your information with others.  This is not a place to post individual’s names or law enforcement sensitive information.

If you can spare a few minutes a month, we are in need of authors…and with your Google Adsense account, you’ll even get paid for your time.  Pick a couple cities that you are familiar with and using our template post the information on our site.  Check back ever few weeks for comments visitors have left that may include new trends or activity and occasionally update your article. It’s an easy process and requires little work.  The more cities you take, the more money you’ll make.  Just select become an author.

If you don't have a Google Adsense account it takes less than 5 minutes to create one.  It's free to sign up and it will ask for some basic information about yourself including your social security number because you will be getting checks from Google.  Register as an individual and use www.knowgangs.com/gangsofamerica when it asks for a domain.  It will take Google 1 - 2 days to approve your account.  You don't need to wait for Google to create your Know Gangs Author account.  When you get your Google Adsense number, log into Know Gangs and update your account with the number and start getting paid.
