Gang Experts

This is NOT an area to discuss confidential information such as specifics about current investigations or recent gang intelligence information that is not already common knowledge. Know Gangs STRONGLY recommends never discussing this type of information on any type of internet website (including ours). There are actually some forums operated by former law enforcement officers who use the information you share to then be a hired as an "expert" to testify in the defense of the very people you arrested. Know Gangs has never testified on the behalf of a defendant in a criminal case.

Know Gangs offers some tips for dealing with "professional" defense gang experts. If you have a pending court case involving a defense hired gang expert, we might be able to provide you with some information to aid in both the voir dire of the witness and the credibility of their background.
