Tattoo De-Coding needed

Hello all -

I am interested in finding out if this symbol rings a bell for anyone. I saw it on a young man - employee where I work (children's behavioral healthcare organization) - this man seems quite anxious to work with youth who are from gangs.

Any insight would be helpful. It is located on the webbing of his hand between the forefinger and thumb.

Sorry you can't see it. I tried to paste in the window, but no luck. The tatoo has four lines intersecting in the middle and it resembles some sort of starburst. Each point of the lines has a small dot at the end of it. It is 8 point (rather than 5 or 6). I have come to know that this person does admit to having a "former" affiliation. Based on his behavior and bravado I doubt highly that it is "past". He said - "if you can figure it out I'll tell you all about my gang". Any insight?

alot of hispanic gang members get a cross with the starburst lines going thru it.

Try right clicking on the link and save to desktop. Then open from there. That's what I had to do to open the file.

more than likely you have a cross with the star burst lines it is usually a reference to perdome me madre ( pardon me mother)

its just a chaos symbol lots of different people have them. From gutter punks to anyone who saw it on a album some where. Trust me I have many cds from the past 15 years that have it on there.
