Default Testing-probing

You're new and believe me they know that you're knew. Working in a jail/prison is like playing chess - you move, they move, etc. Nothing about what they are doing (especially if they are legit AB) is by chance. They are 'attempting' to play/learn you till they have you in a 'check mate' situation. They are watching you to learn your strengths and more importantly your weaknesses. At some point they will test your weaknesses. They aren't treating you differently because they like you - they could care less about you. They are looking for an opportunity to compromise you. I promise you - that the last person that they (the AB) would be concerned about is you or anyone else working in law enforcement.

And they asked me if i wanted to Merry in i of course said no and did the approeiate actions. I was wondering why they would tell a Jailer who talks to the Sheriff every day what they do and why they do it

Do yourself a favor and purchase the book; "Games Criminals Play". This should be recommended reading material for any Law Enforcement Officer especially individuals who work in Corrections.

Default Ditto

Ditton on the previous post. I read that book 16+ years ago and I've watched staff get 'caught' up in the games that the inmates play. I've seen inmates who 'used to be' staff. I can't speak for a jail, as I've always worked in a prison where the inmates aren't just passing thru, they are there for the long haul, but they are sizing you up, seeing what you report, and what you don't. In reading your post it's almost classic what they are doing with you. My suggestion to you is to report it all. You may never realize how even the smallest of intel can lead to something bigger. And if you are dealing with 'true' AB members, they are 100% serious about what they are doing. The AB does not play. They don't need you for anything, but they will USE you in a hearbeat if you let them.

Miilert, i would agree with the posts here. I work in a state prison system. After reading through here, I could'nt help but see what we call and get training for is the classical "anatomy of a set up". These guys are after you for something.

Default You watch them they watch you.

Millert-- I worked 9 1/2 years in juvenile corrections, before coming to Probation. One of the the best piece of advise ever given to me was this:

"You're on a shift 8-9 hours a day, having to monitor ALL of THEM-----EACH inmate can monitor JUST YOU for those 8-9 hours--they know more about you, than you know about them...."

That was advise that really heightened my awareness.

Stay Safe

I agree with some stuff said on here, but they could possibly like you. These guys are locked up & some probably haven't seen much of any women, so of course they could want you.

These Guys Sound To Me Like They Are Just Trying To Make You Feel Comfortable With Them, Do Yourself A Favor And Do Not Get Comfortable With These Guys Cause With 12 Years Of Experience In Corrections I Havelearned Comfort In Our Enviroment Will Get Us Hurt.

Keep Reporting These Things To The Sheriff Andkeep Personal Note For Your Self On The Thing They Say, Do Toward You Or Other Officers
